Ravi Ranjan is an Indian origin independent producer-director based in Derby, UK, who creates captivating unscripted films that explore the stories of people, culture and nature. With over 14 years of experience in the Indian and International televi-sion and media companies as promo producer and digital content creator. He has worked on award-winning projects such as Fulcrum 2018 and Promax 2021. He has developed his media exposure while working with prestigious organisations like Zee cafe, Epic TV, Turner International and The Walt Disney Company. Diversity in his learning made his vision spectrum bigger. His films combine simple but unusual visuals, compelling narratives using sounds and dialogues, metaphors and humour to engage and inform the audience. Being a designer, well-thought compositions, sensible use of colour, Mise-en-scène, media ethics, emotional intelli-gence are evident in his works.Recently, he has just completed his Master’s in Film and Screen Production (Docu-mentary) from University of Derby in 2023.
