I am a student who graduated from the Hong Kong Art For Performing Art, School of Film & Television (Directing Scheme). I am interested in this video production and would like to apply for the post. My graduation project “Chinese Frankenstein” acted by Aaron Chow and Kiki Cheung, was selected by the 2020 ~ 2021 Tokyo International Short Film Festival- Finalist of June & 8th Chongqing Youth Film Festival（Short Film）.In 2022, I worked as a director in 謝高晉 《生死決》music video. During my study, I have had working experience in Film production, MV production & Advertising production as a freelance during my spare time. In 2020, I worked as an assistant director in 陳蕾 Panther Chan - 下流社會 Underworld (Official Music Video) MV 及 《REMEMBERING Leslie》張國榮 Leslie Cheung《最愛是誰 My Dearest 》MV. Throughout my 4 years in the field of film production in directing, Producing and editing teams, I have developed a deep understanding of both the technical and creative aspects that go into producing high-quality content. My experience ranges from being assistant director , production assistant, editor, colourist. The sense of time management, self discipline , problem solving and always be communicate allowing me to bring a diverse perspective to the film production. Also working as different video production, I had gain the team skills, people skills and communicate with different parties and problem solving together and pursue for the best. One of my notable achievements were my MV 謝高晉 《生死決》, 施匡翹 zaina sze 《初心》&《童年密碼 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨》. Those projects required meticulous attention to colour grading to evoke the desired emotional tone, demonstrating my ability to seamlessly blend technical prowess with artistic vision. Additionally, I am proficient in using industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, and I am adaptable to new technologies and techniques that emerge in this ever-evolving field.
Two TV programs, "Aisha" from Sky Cinema and "Inside No.9" from BBC, have deeply resonated with me. The theme of "Aisha," which revolves around immigration, strikes a chord with me as a newcomer immigrant. "Inside No.9" combines mystery, horror, and comedy, which is a genre I'm passionate about. Additionally, I appreciate the creative challenge of storytelling within a single location, which this series excels at.What excites me most about Mentee is it provides a learning and growing opportunity for newcomers who aspire to enter the film industry, making it easier and faster for them to adapt to the workings of the film industry. And that is what I really need that to explore my horizon and connection to build up my people skill and team skill in film industry rapidly and efficiently.
