My training has also provided me with practical skills like being able to create pre-made prosthetic pieces and apply them, create on-skin effects, hair dying and hair styling, period makeup, body makeup and standard tv/film makeup, wig styling and caring to name a few.Although unrelated to this industry, I have 2 years experience working at H&M, but it's important to me as the social skills I gained from this role are transferable, and still help me massively in this industry and within my career. Due to the role, I've gained skills such as clear communication skills, flexibility, patience, problem solving, being able to work calmly but effectively in high pressure environments, organisational and cleanliness skills, time management and adaptability. I love to learn and I pick up things very quickly, and I am always keen to take on new experiences and opportunities. I am very ambitious and hardworking in whatever I do which is reflected when I work. I'm also a very creative person and can bring this to the role in many ways, I have skills in social media, branding, photography and other design aspects, and I am able to use adobe and Microsoft softwares.
I have a special interest in Tv shows, Films and theatrical productions that take on a period or sci fi style, as I love creating looks that are unique and fun.
