I have gained valuable career experience as a runner in the film and television industry over five years, working on a variety of projects, from independent films to large-scale television productions.Floor Runner Experience:I've had the opportunity to collaborate with respected organisations like Discovery+ and Netflix, where I assisted with various tasks, including escorting cast members, supporting the props and costumes departments, and helping with set logistics. I also played a role in ensuring COVID-19 safety measures during shoots. At Speedwagon Productions I was able to work on projects in both production and post-production due to it being a smaller, independent production company. I took on a variety of tasks, from equipment transportation to providing feedback during editing sessions.Post-Production:My experience extends to post-production, where I learned while working at Splice Post Production in London. Here, my responsibilities included welcoming clients, coordinating meals, maintaining a clean workspace. I also often covered receptionist duties such as logging the library inventory, booking clients and other administrative responsibilities. Lastly, I frequently transported sensitive cargo, such as hard drives, unsupervised across London.Education:I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree with a 2:1 in Film Studies from Liverpool John Moores University, which provided me with a strong understanding of industry dynamics and ethical considerations.Technical skill:I am proficient in various media software applications, such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop, as well as competent in operating equipment like the Canon C100 and Zoom microphones.
