As you can see from my attached CV, I have over two years experience working for a company that is a world leader in designing, producing and delivering advanced stage technologies and event structures to live events around the globe. Working on jobs for clients such as Beyonc and Jay-Z, Princess Cruises, The Spice Girls and Rammstein, I have exercised many valuable skills for a fast paced, high pressure, creative environment working as a team or individually. These skills rage from sculpting, carpentry, fibre glassing, mold making, scenic painting, resin, seamstress and pattern cutting, to, ordering/purchasing supplies, picking up deliveries, taking supplies to locations, working on site and managing a small scenic team in the workshop and on location.
In my role as Scenic Co-ordinator, I have been responsible for stock management and ordering. I have an overview of how a job is physically going in the workshops, monitoring when stock needs buying and what products are best suited for the specific job. As Scenic Co-ordinator I have also been the first port of call to run out to collect and deliver items when needed as fast as possible.
In my current role as Scenic Assistant, I predominantly work in the workshop sculpting clay and polystyrene, fibre glassing and using resin, mold making, scenic painting large back drops and probs. Working in the workshop is fasted paced and requirements change rather fast, but, the one thing that doesnt change is my dedication and hard work to those jobs not matter how overwhelming the changes may be.
