I work as a Directors Assistant, helping to develop creative concepts and story arcs, do visual research and create treatments using KeyNote or InDesign to support and communicate the Directors vision. Recently I was a 1st AD on a music video for Mellahs Hitchin track, and so I have experience scheduling and managing shot lists for smaller productions. I am a keen editor and can use Premier Pro, and would welcome any work doing so. For the Kamali and Kofi and Lartey films I worked closely with the Editor and Director to create the impactful films with fluid storytelling. Regarding the films I have worked on, for a couple of years I worked alongside Director Sasha Rainbow on short documentary Kamali which was nominated for a BAFTA for Best British Short Film and was long listed for an Oscar in 2020. Kamali follows the journey of a single Indian womans fight for her daughters empowerment through skateboarding. I also worked on short film Kofi and Lartey and commercials for Toyotas Start Your Impossible commercials about real-life mobility stories of athletes who demonstrate the values of humility, hard work and never giving up. My recent film Rebirth is a short documentary about an adaptive surfers journey to restart. The film won the Impactful Story and Audience Awards at the Portuguese Surf FIlm Festival, received an honorary mention at the Swiss Surf Film Festival and is selected for the upcoming Surf At Lisbon Film Festival.
