On the Acquisitions & Independent Animation team, I am the first port of call for independent production companies and distributors to pitch series ideas for pre-buy and off the shelf acquisition for BBC Children's. Although you'll find me doing a multitude of different activities, my main role as content manager finds me overseeing the submissions process and undertaking the first read of all material for projects submitted to Children's 0-16.Since early 2019, I have stepped up in the form of Programme Exec, looking after Clangers S3 (all hail the pink knitted overlords), Teddles, It's Timmy Time and two upcoming CBeebies series.I'm incredibly passionate about animation and proud to have been called a walking cartoon encylopedia and k-pop goddess I am an avid fan of all things animation, everything from anime to modern cartoons to early animation techniques.
