An award-winning producer working in TV and Film with extensive experience in production and script development. Jayne produced the 2024 series of SILENT WITNESS for BBC1 with consistent audiences of 6.4 million, a 25% share. She has also produced for SKY STUDIOS and the BAFTA award-winning CASUALTY, as well as directing and producing documentaries for all the major terrestrial broadcasters. Jayne’s three feature films – Two Heads Creek, B&B with Paul McGann and Tom Bateman, and Dartmoor Killing, between them won over fourteen awards at International Festivals, including Best Thriller at the National Film Awards for Dartmoor Killing and Best LGBTQ Film at the London Independent Film Festival. Experience in both production and script development of documentaries and drama, developing initial ideas through to the final screenplay and raising finance for the three feature films mentioned. Whilst at SKY Studios, I developed and ran a training scheme for shadow directors. This proved to be so successful that it was subsequently rolled out across all SKY studio productions.Jayne’s run training sessions for New Producers funded by the BFI and a series of webinars on film producing for Women In Film and TV.Early in her career, Jayne was a theatre director and was a recipient of the Royal Shakespeare Company Buzz Goodbody Award. In TV, she directed episodes of Hollyoaks, Grange Hill, Brookside, and a single drama, The Bench, starring Maria Aiken, as well as The Anorak with Sandi Toksvig for ITV.
