I have been based both in the office during pre-production, working alongside the producer to ensure that shoots are efficiently organized and call sheets are accurately and expeditiously completed and distributed. On set I ensure that the shooting schedule is maintained along with managing the shot list and creatively supporting the director on set. Ultimately, I feel my skills are best served in the thick of production on set and location striving to collaborate with fellow creatives, whilst simultaneously ensuring that strict time schedules are meticulously adhered to. My attention to detail ensures the avoidance of costly mistakes that plague shoots in post-production, resulting in reshoots; saving detrimental costs to limited production budgets. This ability also extends to the human element of leading production by guaranteeing the health and safety of all cast and crew and maintaining order through open and frequent communication with HODs to secure a healthy and happy working environment for all.Now I want to progress this experience to the next level by seeking further work in broadcast production, specifically within film and television drama and comedy. After extensive experience performing the role of Assistant Director in TVCs and online branded content I am eager to explore drama production and narrative film-making to contribute to the vibrant tapestry of art that thrives within the UK, specifically in the North West and surrounding areas. My strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead by example, whilst ensuring a harmonious and hardworking environment prevails, aligned with my ability to swiftly assess and amend any technical, production or performance related issues ensures my immeasurable value to any production.
