Edinburgh Television Festival Ones to Watch 2020-2021 Development Producer Hannah Ruddle has worked within production and development across a broad range of genres, including premium documentary, factual entertainment, specialist factual and drama. She has generated original ideas for UK and International broadcasters including BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Discovery and National Geographic. Her credits include The One Show and Chinas Start-Up Revolution (Discovery Asia), BAFTA-nominated In Sight Of Home The Iolaire Disaster (BBC Scotland & BBC4), BIFA-nominated Irenes Ghost (Feature) and Supermarket Secrets (BBCOne). Hannahs TV career kicked off aged 15 when she became the youngest person selected for the Channel 4 Doc/Fest Youth Jury. She also made selection for BAFTA Crew (2018-2019) and Edinburgh Festival Ones to Watch 2020). Her short films have been shown at festivals around the world, including BAFTA qualifying Melbourne International Film Festival and London Short Film Festival, as well as acquired by online platforms Channel 4 Random Acts and Real Stories. Alongside work, she was recently awarded a distinction in a Masters degree in Literature and Arts from the University of Oxford.
