After leaving university in 2015, I joined the costume department in the Film and TV world as a costume trainee and have since worked my way up to assistant costume designer and costume standby. From being advised on what to do, to becoming the advisee, I have gained a variety of experience in the industry. I have built skills in costume buying, fittings, pulling and bringing a character to life, as well as helping to pull together wonderful costume teams. The journey has been a fun one and I love seeing the slate clap down and the hard work pay off.
